Trend Trade Strategies

Trading Strategy
(Dashboard Dailies)

When Price goes above the 8 day EMA (in a bullish, neutral or bearish and thus whatever stance), we are uptrending, I may enter longs, but only when Japanese Candlestick signals (JCS) and Slow Stochastic readings (SS) warrant this (confirmation). These longs are thereafter ultimately exited when Price goes, on a closing basis, below the 8 day EMA.

When Price goes below the 8 day EMA (downtrending) as well as the 200 day SMA (and thus in a bearish stance), I may enter shorts, but only when Japanese Candlestick signals (JCS) and Slow Stochastic readings (SS) warrant this (confirmation). These shorts are thereafter ultimately exited when Price goes, on a closing basis, above the 8 day EMA.

General note: EMA and SMA stand for exponential and simple moving average respectively.
